Our Workshops
Come and join me in a food discovery, as we taste, talk, explore and create with food. Our sessions are designed around a theme, with different activities linked in.
Children love routine, and our workshops are built around that - with familiar aspects each time, so little ones know what to look forward to.
Come with and share in the magic of food. Whether you are a mum, dad, grandparent, nanny, carer, you'll be more than welcome. You'll need to help your child to chop, stir, and whisk - quality time to share with them and create memories.
Talking
Each workshop we have a little talk to introduce our theme or activity. We also have a little song!
Tasting
We might have something to taste too - it might be familiar or something new! Trying new things around peers can often be a great way of expanding tastes.
Exploring
We will explore a little bit more about food - through a science experiment. Watch as your little one is amazed by how you make bread, wonder about why carrots help you see in the dark, or even what is poo?! Food is about more than just eating, it is a marvellous world of discovery.
Cooking
Then we'll get to cook something, with our grown ups to help us. This might be something you can eat straight away, or might be something you need to take home to finish off. The recipes are simple and easy-to-follow and can be recreated at home too. Each family will have their own workstation and equipment.
Tidying
Everyone will be encouraged to sweep, wipe and tidy away after they have finished cooking - a helpful part in being in a kitchen! Don't worry though - we''ll do the washing up.

Tasty!
All our recipes have been tried in advance, and we think they are super tasty.
Clean
You'll be asked to wash your hands, tie hair back and put on an apron.
Easy to follow
Each workstation will have a recipe on, so you can follow at your own pace. We'll be there to help you too!
Balanced
Our sessions are designed around current guidelines and recommendations and offer balance
"I remember baking biscuits with grandparents and mashing the potatoes for my parents!"
"My memory is of making animal shapes from pastry offcuts and covering them in bramble jelly with my grandpa then making rainbow marble cakes with my granny"
"Standing on a stool helping my dad cook as a toddler - started my love of cooking from a very early age!"
What is your food memory from being little?
