Don't buy pizza from the fridge...
My reasons why not to buy pizza from the fridge, and where to buy from instead

A sweet staple
Name something you'll always find in our cupboard... tinned sweetcorn! Our easy-grab, no prep ingredient, with a multitude of uses. We add it as a side, straight into a sauce such as a curry, or twist into a Mexican style sweetcorn salsa. For those days when you can't face just adding cucumber to a plate for a bit of colour and greenery, in comes tinned sweetcorn! One thing to check when buying is to look for no added salt - this one is just sweetcorn and water. It's a great

A reminder to mix it up
We've all been there - some days children just don't want to eat or drink. Sometimes, they just need you to help them mix it up. That might be as simple as changing the cup you serve in. This is Pickle at 2 and a half. Refusing to drink for most of the day. He spotted a tankard we had found in a box and I offered him a drink in it. He said yes and then drank it all. We've had a little break
Pickle Kitchen has been on hold for a little while... as we welcomed Ickle Pickle into the world. Adapting to life from a family of 3 to 4 has been one of the most rewarding, joyous times, despite all the challenges. Changes in routine, relationships and all the rest has been our world for the last year or so, but it has also been the chance to explore more about ourselves, our ways of working and our values. For me, it has also been the headspace and time to think I needed.
