Don't buy pizza from the fridge...

My reasons why, and where to buy from instead.

The next time you fancy a quick and easy dinner for your family, don't head to the fridges in store. Head to the freezer instead...

Here's my reasons why...

1. Price. Frozen pizza is often a lot cheaper than fresh, meaning more money in your pocket. But cheaper price doesn't mean lesser quality. Frozen food can often be made cheaper from economies of scale and efficiency- it has a longer shelf life so supermarkets can take larger deliveries, less often, meaning more efficient manufacturing and less trucks on the road. All of this leads to a cheaper price for you.

2. Ingredients. Surprisingly, frozen foods often have better ingredients than fridge equivalents. Because the frozen pizza has a better shelf life due to the temperature, they often don't need packing out with preservatives and other ingredients to make them last on the shelf, unlike the fridge versions.

3. Better product. Because of 1 and 2, frozen foods are often better than their fridge equivalents. A frozen pizza may have more toppings, a more homemade taste or just more variety.

4. Adaptability. Plans change, and having a frozen pizza means you can keep if for longer!

🍕Obviously homemade pizza is on another level. But for those times when you want ready made - head to the freezers!
